In its Beginning...

"Jesus bore in His own body all of our sin, sickness, disease, poverty and oppression and gave us complete life in Him!"

This is the good news that the world longs to hear. Louise has such a desire in her heart to see this gospel preached in every nation of the earth.

That desire plus a rhema word from God was what prompted her to begin the School of the Bible. In Gaborone, Botswana, in August of 1993, she was teaching in Enock Sitima's church and Bible School. God moved in her heart in a tremendous way. On the last day of classes, Pastor Enock looked across his desk and said to her, "If you don't put these teachings on video for our school, you will be sinning against us!"

Well, that word drove into her heart like a dagger. Her heart was saying yes to the challenge, but her mind said an adamant NO! Louise didn't know anything about video production. However, a few weeks later, God began to bring people to her that did have knowledge and experience. Louise took a step of faith, and the School of the Bible was born. One of God's instructions to her was to supply School of the Bible curriculum courses free of charge to third world countries. She knows God well enough to know that when He gives you a mandate, He will supply the funds to do it. So for the last five years, step by step, she has endeavored to fulfill the vision.

At a meeting in New York in April 1998, Dr. Bob Lemon began to question Louise concerning the School of the Bible. Through him God spoke a word that LBM was to begin to make information available to churches who would like to sponsor a Bible School in a third world country. As she sat at the table and listened to Dr. Lemon and the voice of the Lord, she knew this was a new direction.

Becoming a School Sponsor...

In many mission Bible Schools, you are asked to sponsor a student, but God impressed Louise to hook up churches in partnership to sponsor whole Bible Schools.

At the present time there are 24 Bible Schools across the world established in third world countries. Praise the Lord! He has met the need. Would you pray as an individual or church about becoming a sponsor of a Bible School? We will send you communication, pictures, and letters from the students and teachers you are sponsoring.
